About BBVN Markets

BBVN Markets is an independent crypto research publication. We write about how crypto products actually behave: what an exchange charges after the fee schedule stops applying, what a token wrapper really holds, which legal entity your account sits behind, and what the primary documents say when the marketing page is silent.

Short version: one researcher, a small set of primary sources, and a rule that every claim in a piece must be traceable to a filing, a regulator notice, a fee page, a timestamped on-chain record, or a directly quoted statement — not to another article.

Who runs this site

BBVN Markets is run by an independent researcher based between Vietnam and the wider Southeast Asian market. Everything published here is written and reviewed by that researcher under the desk name BBVN Research. We use a desk name rather than a personal byline for editorial consistency, but the operating entity is a single individual — not a newsroom, not a PR agency, and not an exchange affiliate.

That matters for how you read us. There is no sales team behind this domain, no onboarding funnel pointing at a referral link, and no advertiser whose product we are obliged to describe kindly. If a piece reads as critical, that is the intended output.

What we cover

Exchanges & access

Fee schedules, legal entities, licensing, withdrawal limits, and the practical difference between what a marketing page promises and what a user sees at the moment of withdrawal.

Tokens & infrastructure

Tokenised assets, staking mechanics, privacy chains, upgrade roadmaps — explained from the mechanism up, including the parts that do not work.

Market structure

How price actually forms: liquidity, listing effects, ETF flows, derivatives positioning, and the difference between a narrative moving a market and a market moving a narrative.

How we work

  • Primary sources first. Court dockets, regulator registers, official fee pages, exchange announcements, block explorers and dated screenshots. If a claim only exists in secondary reporting, we say so.
  • Dates are load-bearing. Crypto rules change quarterly. We attach dates to fee tiers, licence status and regulatory deadlines, because a true statement from eighteen months ago is often a false one today.
  • We show the contradiction. Where a company says one thing and its own documents say another, both go in the piece, side by side.
  • We name what we do not know. Unverifiable user numbers, murky corporate structures and self-reported volumes are labelled as such instead of being laundered into confident prose.

What we do not do

  • We do not give investment advice, price targets, or portfolio recommendations.
  • We do not accept payment for coverage, and we do not run sponsored posts without labelling them.
  • We do not operate an exchange, a fund, or a referral programme of our own.
  • We do not publish a claim about a company that we have not tried, at least once, to verify against a primary source.
